    The Plot Is Starting [Transmigration]

    Raw Title: 剧情时间到[穿书]
    Author: 常花一笑
    Total Chapters: 99 Chapters + 4 Extras

Chen Lu transmigrated into a novel. It was a classic, old-school CEO romance plots and became the delicate, breathtaking little white flower shou. Worse yet, he had to follow the plot.

The moment he arrived, he was already locked away in a secluded villa by the overbearing CEO. The little white flower shou was supposed to spend his days sighing at the moon, tearfully lamenting his fate, and his usual lines would be, “no, don’t…” only to give in anyway.

Chen Lu thought it sounded easy enough. He was an otaku, after all. Three years of being shut in? He could handle that.

Two weeks later, however, Chen Lu found himself sneaking into the gong’s study to download online games.

Screw the world! He wanted his games, his soda drinks, his collectible waifu figures! Let everything burn!

Qin Guchuan, the overbearing CEO gong, somehow became aware that he was a character in a dog-blood drama novel—the very same overbearing gong forced to go after the protagonist shou in all the most outrageous ways.

But even if he knew about it, for the sake of world stability, he had no choice but to play out the script exactly as written.

Every day he will return home hearing the protagonist shou sob and whimper in melodramatic monologues. And every time, Qin Guchuan would tell himself,  ‘Just hang in there for three years.’

But before long, he suddenly received a message from one of the estate’s staff that Chen Lu was missing. Qin Guchuan urgently pulled up all the surveillance feeds in the villa, only to see Chen Lu sitting in his study, casually using his computer.

Hold on. Wasn’t the event where the protagonist shou sneaks into the study to secretly reach out to the outside world supposed to happen a year later?!

Qin Guchuan immediately synced in the live surveillance from his study computer. On his computer screen was an intense battle scene from the most popular game of the moment, with Chen Lu’s voice blaring out a string of gleefully vulgar curses.

    Qin Guchuan’s expression faltered.

After the two finally laid their cards on the table…

Qin Guchuan: Come come, the plot is starting.

    Chen Lu: ……

Chen Lu (reciting his lines): You still don’t get it, do you? I’m just a butterfly passing through your life. Your gilded cage was never more than a brief resting place. I was born to be free, forever chasing the most beautiful flower in my existence.

Qin Guchuan: Pfffft HAHAHAHA (completely loses it)

    Chen Lu: FUCK OFF!!!!

Content Warnings: This novel is full of melodrama and absurd plot twists from the original source material. Expect things like, the gong has a white moonlight, the shou has a childhood friend secretly in love with him, and random “here’s 5 million yuan, leave him” moments.

Please do not mention other novels, authors, or real people in the comments, and please don’t mention me under other stories either. Thank you!

    Translator’s Feed

Unless otherwise stated, my translations are not to be reproduced, redistributed, or republished in any form, including but not limited to EPUBs, PDFs, or re-translations. My works are a fan translation, made out of love for the original work. Because the source material often contains cultural context, some nuance is inevitably lost or altered in the process of translation. I try my best to preserve and explain these references when possible, but the result is still an interpretation, filtered through a second language. I also include explanations for idioms, wordplay, or jokes, however, these interpretations are inherently subjective, and not always linguistically precise.

For this reason, please do not use my English translations as the basis for re-translation. If you are working on a translation into another language, I strongly encourage you to refer directly to the original RAWs, which are always linked for your convenience. That way, you can preserve the integrity of the original text without layering another level of interpretation on top. Please note that English is not my first language, so there may be occasional errors.

If you spot any typos, mistranslations, or unclear phrasing, I welcome your feedback. Comment section and discord are open for constructive correction. Please do not upload my translations to NovelUpdates or other aggregator sites, and do not repost or share them elsewhere.

I kindly ask that you respect the time and energy I’ve invested by reading directly to the websites I post my work in.
